It's an exciting time to be in the United Church of Christ and we are making the most of it in the Southern California Nevada Conference!
The United Church of Christ has the values of social justice, inclusion, connection, and robust, intelligent faith that are so relevant and significant to young adults. We have dynamic and diverse ministries across our conference that are already making a difference in the community! We have exciting intergenerational worship that is spirit-filled and powerful. We have a commitment to incusion that resonates deeply with many college students who have joined us for fellowship and discussion.
I have worked with young adults in several different capacities, including developing and leading a series of healthy relationship workshops for young adults, mentoring, and facilitating young adult spirituality exploration groups. I hold a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on communication and I am currently in my third and final year at Claremont School of Theology. I am passionate about social justice as church and the implications of living into our expansive welcome!
I hope to continue to facilitate opportunities to connect and engage around young adult ministries. From internships, to food pantries, young adults are welcome into the life of our church!
Look for our features in connecting voices, our facebook and twitter posts, our blogs, and for our discussions in real time!
Please contact me if I can be a resource to your ministry, your wild idea, your congregation, or to you personally. It is a blessing to serve you and our conference in this role and I look forward to our ministry together.
May God bless us with the creativity and the boldness to see new ways of connecting, of dreaming, of worshipping, and of living as beloved community.
