Online Group for Leaders
Adults who work with youth at a church in this Conference are invited to join an online network for youth group leaders. This online group is a way to share ideas, get questions answered, and be in community with other adults that work with UCC in our Conference. Education Opportunities for Youth Ministry Workers

Adult Workshops at ICYF
July 24-27, 2008 at Chapman University in Orange, CA

ICYF (International Christian Youth Fellowship) is the national youth event for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  UCC youth leaders and youth pastors in Southern California (who are not attending the UCC's National Youth Event) are invited to participate in the workshops at ICYF.  The options are:  Youth Ministry and Spirituality, Youth and Trauma, and Youth Ministry 101.   For more information download the flyer or contact them: ICYFchapman@yahoo.com.

September 18-20, 2008 in Nashville, TN

The Center for Youth Ministry Training and Youth Ministry Architects invite you to join us for the Foundations Youth Ministry Conference September 18 - 20, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. For more information and to register go to www.cymt.org/events.htm

Youth Ministers, Youth Ministry Volunteers, or the whole Youth Ministry Team are  invited to come work on the foundation, blueprints, and infrastructure of your ministry together!

In addition to workshops, seminars, and sessions that are full of opportunities to learn and grow, this is a time to renew your soul in worship, prayer, and laughter knowing that our time with God is the Foundation of our ministry.  A special concert with Mark Schultz will be given as a part of the conference.
