We are pleased to announce, effective April 1, that Rev. June Boutwell will be devoting one-half time to the job of Interim Associate Conference Minister and one-half time to the job of Acting Executive Director of Pilgrim Pines Camp.  Working together, the Conference Board of Directors and the Pilgrim Pines Board of Directors, staff and Rev. Boutwell are working on a plan to address how work, both in the Conference office and at the camp, can be rearranged  We will share the details of the plan with you as it is discerned.

Reducing June's time with the conference reflects the current realities of both the Conference and Pilgrim Pines budgets while allowing Pilgrim Pines the benefit of June's gifts in administration, outdoor ministries and youth/young adult ministries.  With this reduction in staff, as well as the other reductions that have already taken place, continuing Conference staff will not be able to continue to do all that they have in the past.  We will be counting on all of our elected, appointed and volunteer leaders to do more.
